On 26 June 2026, we returned to Manor House Lindley for our third visit to the venue, this time helping celebrate Julie Scanlon's 60th birthday with our full-size Magic Mirror.
With around 110 guests, tuxedos, sequin dresses and one of Huddersfield's most stylish venues as the backdrop, it was exactly the sort of event where the Magic Mirror works brilliantly.

This was our third visit to Manor House Lindley, and that makes a difference.
When we know a venue, we know where the Magic Mirror works best, how guests move through the space and how to position everything so it feels like part of the evening rather than something tucked away in a corner.
For this event, the mirror sat naturally within the flow of the room, giving guests plenty of chances to see what was happening, have a laugh and jump in for their own photos.

The Magic Mirror worked well here because it didn't interrupt the party.
Guests could carry on chatting, moving between the bar and the room, then step over to the mirror whenever they were ready.
There was a steady stream of guests throughout the night rather than one rushed queue, which is often the best kind of rhythm for a milestone birthday. Everyone gets time to enjoy it, and the mirror stays active all evening.

One of the best parts of the evening was watching the older generation get involved.
That is something we see again and again with the Magic Mirror. People might start by watching from a distance, but once they see friends laughing, choosing props and walking away with printed photos, curiosity usually wins.
The reaction was exactly what we like to hear:
