Tickton Grange delivered again. Lucy & Luke’s wedding had everything — a packed room, great energy and a crowd that were fully up for it from the start.
Around 120 guests filled the space, and from the moment things got going, it didn’t really stop.
We were set up right next to the bar, which turned out to be a brilliant position for this one. Constant footfall, natural interaction and no drop-off in energy all night.
Quick takeaways:
- Packed all night — no quiet periods once it got going
- Perfect mirror placement next to the bar
- The couple were on it early and set the tone
The Setting – Tickton Grange
Tickton Grange is one of those venues that just works.
Bright, well laid out and with plenty of space for guests to move naturally between the bar, dancefloor and everything else going on.
The lighting in particular stood out — clean, bright and perfect for photos without needing to fight the room.
It creates exactly the kind of environment where the Magic Mirror fits straight in.
The Setup – Right by the Bar
This time we were positioned right next to the bar — and honestly, it couldn’t have worked better.
Guests naturally move between drinks, conversations and the dancefloor, so the mirror became part of that flow rather than something separate.
Why this worked
- Constant visibility
- No effort needed to draw people in
- Natural guest movement
- Easy access for groups
It’s a great example of how placement makes a huge difference to how much guests use the mirror.
Bright, open space that worked perfectly for the evening setup.

From Slow Start to Full Send
Like a lot of weddings, the first few minutes were steady. Guests arriving, getting drinks, finding their feet.
Then it flipped.
About five minutes in, the mirror started to pick up — and from that point until the first dance nearly two hours later, it was constant.
No gaps, no drop-off — just a steady stream of groups all night.
Lucy & Luke Set the Tone
The couple were straight on it.
First on the mirror, and then back again for a big chunk of the early photos.
That always makes a difference.
When the couple get involved early, it gives everyone else permission to relax and join in.
The Moment Everyone Tried to Beat
Every now and then, something happens that sums up the whole night.
This time?
18 people trying to beat our 19-person record on the mirror.
Absolute chaos in the best way — people squeezing in, laughing, trying to make it work.
They didn’t quite beat it… but they gave it a proper go.
Guest Behaviour – Exactly What You Want
Once it got going, it didn’t stop.
- Groups coming back multiple times
- Bigger and bigger photos
- Guests pulling others in
That’s when you know it’s working properly.
It becomes part of the night, not just something on the side.
18 people attempting to beat our record — chaos in the best way.
