Today we attended the wedding fayre at Healds Hall Hotel and had the chance to showcase both our original Yorkshire-built Magic Mirror and our compact Magic Mini setup to couples planning weddings across West Yorkshire.
Smaller fayres can sometimes be the best ones — and this was definitely one of those days.
Around 14 suppliers attended, which gave everybody chance to properly talk, network and get to know each other rather than rushing from stand to stand. The whole atmosphere throughout the day felt relaxed, friendly and genuinely welcoming.

The Venue – Healds Hall Hotel
One of the biggest things we noticed today was how welcoming the team at Healds Hall were from the moment we arrived.
The staff were brilliant throughout the fayre and it is easy to see why couples enjoy getting married here. Sometimes it is not just about the room itself — it is the people behind the venue that make the experience work.
The venue itself has a relaxed atmosphere with lovely garden areas, an in-room bar and spaces that feel ideal for weddings where guests can properly settle in and enjoy themselves.
Honestly, Healds Hall feels like one of those hidden gem Yorkshire wedding venues that deserves more attention.
The Setup – In Front of the Genuine Water Well
For the fayre we showcased both our Magic Mirror and Magic Mini setups.
We were positioned towards the back of the room directly in front of the venue’s genuine water well, which created a brilliant backdrop for the display throughout the day.
Even with a smaller fayre, the reaction from couples was fantastic. Several people told us they had never seen anything like our setup before, which is exactly what we aim for.

One unexpected highlight of the day was the food.
The venue served hog roast sandwiches with chunky chips during the fayre and honestly, it went down brilliantly with both suppliers and guests.
It sounds simple, but details like that say a lot about a venue and how they look after people during events.

Relaxed conversations, friendly suppliers, fantastic staff and couples genuinely interested in seeing something different made this a really enjoyable venue to visit.
For us, this feels like the start of what could become a really strong relationship with a genuinely underrated Yorkshire wedding venue.
